Whatever
Stuff that didn't really fit anywhere else. The term "Whatever", however, is not meant to suggest that I'm apathetic about it. On the contrary, some of the most important stuff is to be found here. There's a lot less political crap than on the old version of my site, which I started in large part so I could rant about Obama without bothering my liberal Facebook friends. After it diversified I still had an entire section called "The Political Portal", but I lost interest over time as it became clear that my opinions had exactly zero effect on the direction the country was going. And while many fundamentals stayed the same, my views became more balanced and nuanced as I became more educated. I also became determined to broaden the scope of this site beyond the United States and reach out to everyone in the world, or at least everyone who has internet access and can read English.
